Analysis of soil and sediment

IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute has extensive experience of environmental pollution in soil and sediment and conducts sampling, analyzes and provides advice on proposed action plans.

One of our areas of expertise is pollution of PFAS in soil. We specialize in analyzing very low levels of PAH, PCB, PFAS and mercury, among other things, and follow trends around levels in the environment.

The analyzes and tests are done in our analysis laboratory and tailored to your needs. Many of our measurement and analysis methods are accredited by Swedac External link, opens in new window. according to SS-EN ISO / IEC 17025: 2018. For other methods, we work based on corresponding quality routines.
